Pittsburgh Maulers – 23 at Philadelphia Stars – 30

 Pittsburgh Maulers – 23 at Philadelphia Stars – 30

Next up was a battle of two teams from the Keystone State. The Maulers and Stars slugged it out for 60 minutes as each team looked to avoid falling to 0-2. In the end, Philly was able to outlast Pittsburgh and put up 9 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to walk away with the win.

Despite what the final score may suggest, Pittsburgh’s defense did what it could to keep the team in this game. The Maulers forced two turnovers in the first quarter. Unfortunately, the offense could only muster a field goal off those early turnovers.

Philly fired back in the second quarter and mounted a 14-3 lead over the visiting team. The Stars looked to score again, but the Maulers forced another turnover. This time, the fumble was returned for a TD. Each team scored another TD before halftime, however, Pittsburgh’s kicker missed a PAT.

The Maulers enter the third quarter down 16-21. It was not until the end of the third quarter that a team scored again Pittsburgh pulled ahead 23-21 on a 37-yard passing TD. However, Philadelphia answered in the fourth quarter with a TD and the first ever 3-point conversion. The Stars earned a hard fought 30-23 victory.

Birmingham Stallions – 33 at Houston Gamblers

Last Saturday’s action continued  with a high  안전 스포츠사이트 추천 scoring matchup between Birmingham and Houston. Both teams entered the game with perfect 1-0 records. The Stallions and the Gamblers scored earlier and often in this one. Ultimately, a late INT held off Houston’s comeback attempt and Birmingham got the W.

The Stallions started the scoring early with a 48-yard pick six that came less than a minute into the game. Houston was able to answer with a FG and then a pick six of its own to take a 9-7 lead. Birmingham’s 32-yard FG gave them a 10-9 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Houston was able to keep the ball rolling in the second half. The Stallions on the other hand could only muster up a FG. The Gamblers entered halftime up 18-13. Houston’s lead could have been larger, but they missed a 2-point conversion attempt.

Birmingham mounted a furious comeback in the second half and put 13 points in the third quarter. That was more than the Gamblers had in the entire second half. In the end, this battle of Southern Division teams went to Birmingham, 33-28.

New Orleans Breakers – 34 at Tampa Bay Bandits

Sunday’s stand-alone game was a matchup of title favorites. Unfortunately, the Bandits did not get the memo. This 31-point blowout is the worst in the short history of the USFL. It will be interesting to see how they adjust when the teams face off again in Week 9.

The Breakers pour it on early and did not stop. They scored 14 points in the first quarter and added another TD before halftime. Tampa Bay’s only sign of life was a FG with 5:54 left in the half. The Bandits finished the half down 21-3.

Two Players for the USFL New Orleans Breakers Team

Tampa Bay’s luck did not turn around in the second half. The Breakers’ defense kept the Bandits out of the endzone. Sloppy play by Tampa ended any hopes of a comeback. Ultimately, New Orleans came out on top 34-3.

USFL Week 3 Betting Odds

We can now turn our attention to the action scheduled for Week 3. Once again, every team is facing off with an opponent that has an identical record.

Birmingham and New Orleans will break their tie for the best record in the USFL. Meanwhile, the Maulers and the Panthers will look to avoid an 0-3 start.

Tampa Bay Bandits vs Houston Gamblers

Week 3 starts with a matchup in the Southern Division. The Bandits (-1) will be slight favorites over the Gamblers (+1). Both teams are looking to bounce back from losses last week. Bovada has Tampa Bay’s moneyline set at -120. Meanwhile, Houston is listed as even money to get the victory at home. The over/under is set at 39 points.

He’s taking on Edson Barboza in this fight, who many consider to be the most dangerous striker in the game. Lately, however, Barboza has shown a tendency to take big shots. That’s exactly what Felder will be looking for.

Paul’s a great striker in his own right and has a great shot at earning the KO victory in his bout. It’s unlikely that this fight hits the mat, and if Felder can stay patient and land a big shot, he has a real shot at pulling off the upset.

With odds of +150, our prediction is that this bet could earn you some solid cash.

Islam Makhachev:

Islam Makhachev, Davi Ramos, UFC, Question Mark In the co-main event of the evening, Islam Makhachev is taking on the tough Brazilian powerhouse, Davi Ramos. This is a tough fight for both men, as both are physically imposing with grappling-heavy styles. Makhachev is just a little bit better.

As a training partner for Khabib Nurmagomedov with a 17-1 record, Islam Makhachev is one of the most exciting prospects in the lightweight division. Not long ago, Daniel Cormier praised him as a future champion. Ramos is no pushover, but he’ll have a tough time implementing his style against someone with the wrestling credentials of Makhachev.

It’s likely that Islam pulls off a unanimous decision in this one. Expect him to pressure Ramos on the feet and work for takedowns later in the rounds.

The oddsmakers got this one right. Feel free to wager on Makhachev before heading to any of the best places to watch UFC 242 in Las Vegas that we mentioned. He’s a solid pick heading into fight night and not to brag, but we are experts when it comes to UFC fight predictions.

Mairbek Taisumov, Carlos Diego Ferreira, UFC Octagon, Question MarkSpeaking of lightweight prospects, there are many that feel Mairbek Taisumov is the next big thing at 155 pounds. Despite a 7-1 record in the UFC with five 먹튀검증 사이트 추천

knockouts, he’s flown under the radar during most of his run with the promotion. UFC 242 may be his time to shine.

He’s taking on the always-tough Carlos Diego Ferreira, who’s currently riding a four-fight win streak.

Ferreira is looking great right now, but he’s been hurt with strikes in the past. Against Taisumov, that’s not something you can work through.

Taisumov has honed his striking skills at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand, for years. He’s an explosive striker with fantastic counter-wrestling skills. Our prediction is that this one ends early after Taisumov catches Ferreira and finishes him on the ground with a TKO.
